1999 - MacNeil acquires its first manufacturing concern, Extrusion of PVC Pipe
2001 - MacNeil occupies additional grounds in Lansdowne
2002 - MacNeil opens its Eastern Cape branch in St Francis Bay
2002 - MacNeil expands into plastic injection moulding
2004 - MacNeil Cape Town transfers to a new warehouse in Epping
2005 - MacNeil Plastics (pressure pipe injection moulding plant) opens in Blackheath
2006 - MacNeil opens a new branch in George
2007 - MacNeil acquires 50% of Upfront Agencies in PE
2008 - MacNeil opens a new branch in Bloemfontein
2008 - MacNeil relocates its Eastern Cape Branch to PE
2008 - MacNeil opens a new distribution centre in Queenstown
2008 - MacNeil investigates branches in Johannesburg and Durban
2009 - MacNeil opens a new branch in Midrand Johannesburg
2010 - Macneil opens a new branch in New-Germany Durban
2010 - MacNeil acquires PVC Profiles manufacturing plant in Paarl
2012 - MacNeil combines all manufacturing into new Plastics Plant in Somerset-West
2012 - Invicta Holdings invests in MacNeil
2013 - MacNeil invests in Brands 4 Africa
2014 – MacNeil acquires DCLSA Ironmongery Business
2015 – MacNeil builds & moves into a new warehouse in Durban

MacNeil operates from a number of facilities countrywide. Our headquarters are located in Epping, Cape Town. With several branches in Port Elizabeth, George, Bloemfontein, Queenstown, JHB (Midrand).  With our Durban facility being the most recent addition, having opened on the 1st December 2009 / January 2010.

MacNeil's manufacturing division (both extrusion and injection moulding) was originally established as a PVC manufacturer of piping systems for the civil, irrigation, plumbing and electrical industries.
